Software Engineer

As all round experienced developer I create and update websites using HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery. I can be of help if you prefer a website with a bit more than the average. You can also use my expertise for more complex (back-end) applications that either need to be build from scratch or build on (and improve) an existing code base. Being an engineer and psychologist I have the skills and competence needed for such challenging projects.

Web Development & UI Design

As a psychologist I understand people. Compared to the average software engineer I am more capable to help you carefully define your wishes in order to realize a customized product. User-friendly design is key. With that in mind I will provide insights when updating existing websites and tools or propose options and alternatives when creating new products.

Languages and FrameWorks

For both front- and back-end development I can offer different services. This varies from updating the layout of an existing website (front-end) or updating and adding to logic to existing data heavy applications (back-end) to setting up new applications or websites. Depending on the requirements for your application or website and possible personal preferences, I work with different frameworks or template engines (such as Play, WordPress) and programming languages.

Translation of Content

Maybe you are considering an upgrade for your website or tool by making it accessible to users abroad. In that case you are welcome too. In contrast to most other developers I can provide the extra service of translating the content of your website or application from Dutch to English or the other way around.
